I began apprenticing to my creativity with poetry, and it is still my strongest love. I appreciate its mysterious, free flowing nature, which allows everything to exist and seeks to create a harmony. In Robert Johnson’s book, Owning your Own Shadow, he discusses that art’s great mission is to pull together all the paradoxes of the world and allow them to exist. I think poetry does this the best.
